Job summary

Magid Glove & Safety seeks a Field Service Representative to restock PPE vending machines and maintain site inventories across Charlotte, Welcome, and Lexington, NC. You’ll ensure gloves, safety glasses, and other PPE are available when workers need them, working primarily at customer sites.

Expect independent work, paid training, and opportunities to grow within Magid’s safety-focused, people-first culture. Role involves driving between locations and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

As a Field Service Representative (FSR), you'll play an important role in keeping workers safe. By making sure our customer vending machines are stocked, organized, and running smoothly, you'll help ensure employees have access to the gloves, safety glasses, and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) they need to do their jobs safely - when and where they need it. Your work may happen behind the scenes, but its impact is seen every day.

What You'll Do

• Restock Personal Protective Equipment PPE vending machines with safety products such as gloves, safety glasses, and other equipment


• Monitor inventory levels and keep products organized


• Perform basic vending machine maintenance and replace simple parts when needed

Schedule

This position supports three customer locations in the Charlotte, Welcome, and Lexington, NC areas.

• Charlotte: Service one customer plant twice per week, for approximately 10-14 hours total per week. The plant operates from two separate buildings across the street from each other, so driving between the two buildings is required. Customer site needs to be services between 7:00am - 2:30pm.


• Welcome & Lexington: Each location is serviced every other week, with approximately 1 hour of work per visit.

Paid drive time and mileage reimbursement are also provided.

Schedules are generally completed Monday through Friday, with service times coordinated around customer availability.

• Previous inventory experience is required


• Metatarsal guards are required at this customer location and will be provided by Magid.


• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)


• Personal smartphone and basic computer skills


• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds


• Comfortable working in manufacturing environments that may be noisy, dusty, or have varying temperatures


• Ability to work independently and manage inventory with minimal supervision


• Flexibility to provide on-call support for emergency maintenance and repairs


• Ability to follow customer-specific safety procedures
