Job summary

Veolia in the United States is seeking a Field Service Representative in the Chemical Solutions and Monitoring division to install, service, and troubleshoot water treatment systems at customer sites. Overview

Role: Field Service Representative (FSR) in the Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM) division. You will provide on-site technical service as the primary liaison between Veolia and industrial customers, performing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems while building lasting customer relationships through technical excellence.

What You'll Do

• Technical Service and Installation: Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer locations.
• Water Testing and Analysis: Obtain samples and perform water testing (pH, conductivity, hardness, silica, PTSA, etc.) and enter data into Veolia's trending platform (Insight).
• Customer Consultation: Act as technical consultant, providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams.
• System Optimization and Troubleshooting: Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve issues via remote support and on-site interventions.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed service reports, manage inventory, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Territory Management: Support multiple customer sites within the assigned territory and coordinate with sales teams for optimal service delivery.

Qualifications

• Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline; a high school diploma or GED is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in instrumentation and electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training.
• Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred.
• A full valid driver's license and willingness to travel (a learner's permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify).

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: The salary range is a market-based guide and depends on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Typical range: $30.00 – $37.00 per hour, with offers determined accordingly.
