Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Field Service Representative to deliver on-site technical service for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems. You will work as the primary technical liaison with industrial customers, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment while building strong customer relationships.

Ideally, you have a technical degree or diploma and 2–5 years in instrumentation or related fields, plus a valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

  • Technical degree or diploma preferred; high school diploma required.
  • 2–5 years in instrumentation, electronics, plant ops or related training.
  • Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel; learner permits not acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment and instrumentation at customer sites.
  • Perform water sampling and testing and enter data into Veolia's Insight platform.
  • Provide technical consultations, training and recommendations to customer teams.
  • Calibrate equipment, program controllers, and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain detailed service reports, inventory control, and safety protocols.
  • Support multiple sites in the territory and coordinate with sales for service delivery.

Join Veolia as a Field Service Representative (FSR) in our Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM) division and advance your career in hands‑on technical service and sustainability!

About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Representative to deliver exceptional on‑site technical service as the primary technical liaison between Veolia and our industrial customers. You will work independently across diverse industries, providing expert installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems while building lasting customer relationships through technical excellence.

What You Will Do
Technical Service & Installation
  • Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer locations
Water Testing and Analysis
  • Obtain samples and perform water testing to include pH, conductivity, hardness, silica, PTSA, etc., and enter data into Veolia's trending platform (Insight)
Customer Consultation
  • Act as technical consultant providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams
System Optimization & Troubleshooting
  • Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve system issues through remote support technologies and on‑site interventions
Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management, and ensure all safety protocols are followed
Territory Management
  • Support multiple customer sites within assigned territory, coordinating with sales teams for optimal service delivery
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Education & Experience
  • Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required
  • 2-5 years of experience in instrumentation and electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training
  • Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred
  • A full valid driver's license and willingness to travel (a learner’s permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify)
