Field Service Representative Houston, TX

Position Description

Our Field Service Representatives have a unique opportunity to employ their technical skills by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology. Responsibilities include installing, updating, performing preventative maintenance, and other services for state-of-the-art Temperature Management Systems in hospitals across the United States, while providing exceptional customer service. This role offers a chance to advance your technical skills in the medical device industry.

This is a 100% travel position, with travel typically 2-4 weeks at a time.

Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing communication and support to hospital staff.
  • Organize, evaluate, and update medical devices; install and configure hardware, software, and network products.
  • Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests.
  • Document and submit daily data with high standards of quality documentation.
  • Travel locally, regionally, and nationally; occasional international travel may occur.
  • Work a schedule of 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Note: Compliance with client requirements, including vaccination (Covid-19), may be necessary.

Job Requirements
  • Associate degree, military training, or equivalent biomedical/technical field experience (3-5 years).
  • Strong computer troubleshooting skills across multiple software platforms.
  • Effective communication and professional business skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently or in teams.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for local travel.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements, including vaccination proof.
  • Within 45 minutes to 1 hour of a major airport; weekly travel required.

  • Experience in healthcare environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
