Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Sumner, WA, is seeking a Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and rebuild power generation products in a service workshop under limited supervision.

The role involves engaging with customers professionally, performing maintenance/repairs with diagnostic tools, and maintaining detailed service records while complying with Cummins safety policies. A valid license, DOT prerequisites, and driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience working with power generation products; High Voltage/Low Voltage practical experience.
• A current valid license is required for this role.
• This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations.
• This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
• 3 years driving experience.
• This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use.
• Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age.
