Cummins Inc. in Hodgkins, IL is seeking a Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on generator sets and related equipment at customer sites.
You will work with minimal direction, documenting service activities and maintaining tools and vehicles. The role requires basic mechanical/electrical skills, HV/LV experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to learn; CDL may be required in some cases.
Completes preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on Generator or component at the customer site with minimal direction.

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Current relevant electrical certification
Locally valid driving permit
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Minimal level of workshop related experience required.
Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience
