Job summary

Clean Harbors in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking a Field Service Foreman to supervise Field Technicians and oversee emergency response, hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and PPE handling.

The role requires a strong safety focus, leadership, and the ability to manage projects on time and within budget. Travel and on-call duties are required; competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided. Excellent training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a physically intensive role.
• Experience in a supervisory/crew-lead role.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight.
• On-call for emergency response.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass background check, drug test and medical.
• Must meet respirator facial hair standards per OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Field Technicians and ensure safety and quality of work.
• Train and mentor technicians on field procedures.
• Execute projects within budget and on time.
• Maintain OSHA/EPA/H&S compliance and standards.
• Coordinate manpower and resources for field service and emergency response.
• Manage large-scale field service and emergency response projects as directed.
• Perform physically demanding tasks and operate equipment as needed.
• Complete paperwork, inspections and permits; ensure regulatory compliance.
