Job summary

Wolter is looking for a Field Service Mechanic based in Bolingbrook, IL to service powered industrial equipment, including LP Gas, diesel, and electric trucks. You will join a mission-driven team that values safety, training, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include on-site service, collaboration with the Road Lead Mechanic, and ongoing product training. A valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a mechanic, diesel mechanic, heavy-duty mechanic, or diesel technician.
• Ability to operate the service office and communicate with customers clearly.
• Physical ability to perform demanding field service tasks and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned service jobs with precision and dedication.
• Collaborate with the Road Lead Mechanic on technical challenges.
• Attend service training classes to stay updated on products.
• Submit daily paperwork with timecards and signatures.
• Maintain communication with dispatchers and the service office.
• Identify jobs for shop repair and suggest safe, effective options.
• Develop relationships with territory sales representatives.
