Viking Pest Control in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a driven Service Manager to lead and support a team of Pest Control Technicians in the field. This role focuses on driver development, route performance, customer satisfaction, and branch compliance.

The right candidate will be a strong coach, problem solver, and pest management professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Pest control licenses 7A, 7B & 13 are required.
• 2+ years of pest control experience OR a 4-year degree with 3+ years of management experience and at least 1 year of pest control experience.
• Strong working knowledge of pest control treatments, services, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities with field employees.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of Pest Control Technicians in residential and commercial service.
• Provide daily field support including troubleshooting pest issues and route concerns.
• Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins to review performance and customer service.
• Perform monthly ride-alongs for coaching and quality control.
• Review and adjust technician routes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Identify training opportunities and deliver field training on pest control practices.
• Lead branch huddle meetings and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Review logs for accuracy and compliance and troubleshoot difficult customer situations.
