Job summary

Municipal Emergency Services (MES) is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our regional field service team. This leadership role focuses on developing people, improving operations, building customer relationships, and delivering exceptional service.

The position requires travel across the region to support technicians and customers. You will oversee scheduling and daily service operations, hire and coach team members, and partner with Sales to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field service or technical teams.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with scheduling and operational management.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees.
• Strong business acumen and experience using performance metrics.
• Mechanical or technical aptitude.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory and support occasional after-hours customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of field service technicians.
• Participate in hiring processes for your assigned territory. Oversee scheduling and daily service operations.
• Build strong relationships with fire departments and municipal customers.
• Partner with Sales to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Travel regularly throughout your region to support technicians and customers.
• Monitor KPIs, improve operational performance, and drive business results.
• Take ownership of customer issues until they are resolved.
