Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead the Testing Department, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and high-quality customer support across projects. The role requires strong leadership, electrical testing expertise, and coordination with Finance, Sales, and HR to achieve department goals.

The role emphasizes safety, training, and effective resource management, with travel up to 50% and a focus on delivering reliable service and technical excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• NETA level III certification or higher is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• 5+ years of technical experience in Electrical Testing or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Testing Department.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure high-quality service.
• Promote an uncompromising safety culture within the department.
• Provide technical support to field technicians and customers.
• Prepare reports and debriefs for Operations.
• Mentor and train Testing Department personnel.
