About the role:

The Field Service Manager is responsible for the successful delivery and execution of Hach’s field service contracts, recruiting, developing Field Service Technicians (FSTs), tracking business and operational trends, and enhancing customer relationships.

This is a remote position based in Northern California, Colorado, Nevada, or Utah. This role reports to the Senior Field Service Manager.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through contact and visits, exploring needs, resolving problems, and establishing service strategies.
  • Following environmental, health, and safety policies of both Hach and the customer.
  • Driving safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity initiatives; analyzing data to identify trends.
  • Reviewing customer service contracts and adjusting FST effort requirements accordingly.
  • Traveling to customer sites, evaluating FST performance, and building relationships.
  • Evaluating and developing associate skillsets, maintaining skills matrix, and building talent.
  • Engaging in performance management activities such as recognition, training, coaching, and discipline.

The essential requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership and performance management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with ServiceMax or Salesforce preferred.
  • Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

US ONLY:

The salary range is $105,000 - $112,000 USD/year, with potential for bonus pay. Benefits include paid time off, insurance, and 401(k). Compensation may vary based on various factors.
