About the role:

The Field Service Manager reports to the Senior Field Service Manager. You will be responsible for delivering and executing Hach’s field service contract and on-demand obligations. Additionally, you will recruit, hire, and develop Field Service Technicians (FSTs), analyze business and operational trends, and improve customer relationships.

This is a remote position based in Colorado or Northern California. Multiple locations are listed for marketing purposes, but only one position is available.

Typical daily responsibilities include:
  • Establishing and maintaining customer relationships through contact/visits, exploring needs, resolving problems, and developing service strategies.
  • Following environmental, health, and safety policies of both Hach and the customer.
  • Driving safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity initiatives. Tracking and analyzing data to respond to volumes, trends, and drivers.
  • Reviewing customer service contracts and adjusting FST efforts accordingly.
  • Traveling to customer sites, evaluating FST performance, and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Evaluating team members’ skills, maintaining a skills matrix, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Engaging in performance management activities such as recognition, training, coaching, and discipline.
Essential requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of leadership and performance management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with ServiceMax or Salesforce preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Compensation and benefits:

The salary range is $105,000 - $112,000 USD per year, with eligibility for bonus pay. Benefits include paid time off, health insurance, and 401(k). The actual pay will depend on various factors including experience and location.
