Job summary

Provisur Technology is seeking a Field Service Supervisor for the Slicing Equipment line. You will oversee all service activities, coordinate daily tasks for Field Service Technicians, and provide hands-on technical guidance.

Expect travel approximately 40% of the time to support customers and installations. The role requires a strong mechanical/electrical background, 3+ years supervisory experience, and a customer-focused leadership style.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a technical service environment.
• At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong sense of professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Field Service Technicians (FSTs) for the Slicing product line, including scheduling, technical support, repairs, documentation, troubleshooting, and order processing.
• Coordinate equipment installations, assign personnel, and oversee scheduling for efficiency.
• Supervise FST service visits, review trip reports, follow up on open issues, ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Manage FST activities to resolve service needs and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Oversee documentation of service calls, machine shipments, installations, and customer invoicing.
• Address warranty concerns and manage Maintenance Agreements to minimize downtime.
• Ensure service project timelines are maintained and deliver excellent outcomes.
• Promote safety and ongoing development within the FST team through training.
• Supervise multiple field projects and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing, and NPD teams.
• Conduct customer visits to support FSTs, resolve complex issues, lead audits and PM inspections, identify opportunities with sales.
