Job summary

Clean Harbors in Cranston RI is seeking a Field Service Foreperson to supervise Field Technicians and lead emergency response projects including spill cleanup, hazardous waste clean-up, and site remediation. You will manage budgets, safety compliance, and field operations across environments, with on-call emergency duties.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel are required. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and hands-on field work, including equipment operation and mandatory

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a physically intensive role.
• Supervisory, crew lead or leadership experience.
• Ability to travel for extended periods, overnight.
• On-call for emergency response.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Background check, drug test, and physical as required by position.
• Respiratory protection standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor the Field Service Technicians.
• Execute projects within budget and on time.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, and H&S regulations are followed.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment and resources for field service and emergency response projects.
• Manage large-scale field service and emergency response projects as directed.
• Perform heavy physical labor and operate equipment and tools.
• Adhere to PPE use and safety guidelines.
• Work in varied environments and weather conditions.
• Attend safety and compliance meetings.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Complete paperwork and inspections as required.
• On-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
