Job summary

Clean Harbors in Chicopee, MA is seeking a Field Service Foreperson to lead a team of Field Technicians on emergency response, hazardous waste cleanup, and site remediation projects. You will supervise day-to-day field operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate resources to complete tasks on schedule and within budget.

Ideal candidates have prior supervisory experience in physically demanding roles, are comfortable traveling, and can be on-call for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a physically intensive role.
• Willingness to travel and be on-call for emergency response.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check and physical.
• Compliance with OSHA respiratory protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor the Field Technicians.
• Execute projects within budget and on time.
• Enforce OSHA, EPA and H&S standards.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment and resources for field service and emergency response.
• Operate light/heavy equipment and use PPE per safety guidelines.
• Complete paperwork such as inspections and permits.
