Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies seeks a Field Service Lead in the Lincoln, NE area to diagnose and repair rotating equipment, lead field crews, and ensure quality work on customer sites.

You will review specifications, guide technicians, and handle complex issues while traveling regionally and sometimes weekends. A strong safety mindset and hands-on leadership are required to deliver reliable service and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience maintaining and repairing rotating equipment (submersibles, aerators, blowers, mixers, motors <480V).
• Valid Driver's License with ability to obtain Missouri Class E CDL, at minimum.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical problems and perform motor insulation tests.
• Ability to read OEM drawings and perform OEM maintenance/PM duties.
• Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on with technical work.
• Ability to travel regionally and work shifts outside normal hours, including weekends/holidays.

Competitive Pay:

This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $30/hr. and higher depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose equipment issues and provide troubleshooting, repair, installation, alignment, inspection, and maintenance support.
• Lead field crews and provide technical direction to technicians during customer assignments.
• Review job requirements, scope of work, drawings, specifications, and customer expectations prior to beginning work.

• Identify additional repair, service, or equipment needs and communicate opportunities to the appropriate sales or service leadership.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.

What You'll Need:

• 7+ years of experience performing maintenance and repair of rotating equipment, such as submersibles, aerators, blowers, mixers, motors <480V, etc.
• Valid Driver's License with ability to obtain Missouri Class E CDL, at a minimum.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical problems and perform motor insulation tests.
• Ability to read OEM drawings/documents and perform OEM maintenance and preventative maintenance duties.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
• Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on with technical work.
• Ability to access secure customer locations (i.e. military bases, ammunition facilities, petroleum refineries, power plants).
• Availability to work shifts outside of normal work schedule, including required OT on weekends and holidays.
• Availability to travel throughout the region with overnight stays.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office; Outlook, Excel and Word) and ability to operate windows-based programs from a tablet, computer, or smartphone remotely.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel for field service work.
