Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Millwright in Kingman, AZ to install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating and fixed equipment, read schematics, and diagnose malfunctions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial mechanical maintenance or field service.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with rigging, hoisting, welding, and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Physically capable to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Familiar with safety procedures in industrial settings.
• Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines).
• Certifications in welding, rigging, forklift operation, or confined space entry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of work, parts, and time spent using CMMS.
• Travel to job and customer sites as required; work independently.

Competitive Pay:This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $25/hr. to $40hr., depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do:

• Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating and fixed equipment.
• Inspect mechanical components for wear, damage, and alignment issues.
• Use precision tools such as laser alignment systems, dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
• Fabricate or modify equipment and parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment when necessary.
• Work closely with engineers, electricians, and other trades to complete equipment installations or upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent using CMMS or job tracking systems.
• Capable of working independently with little to no supervision.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
• Ability to travel to job and customer sites as required.

What You'll Need:

• 3+ years of experience in an industrial, mechanical maintenance, or field service role.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with rigging, hoisting, welding, and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in industrial settings.
• Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.).
• Certifications in welding, rigging, forklift operation, or confined space entry.
• Familiarity with vibration analysis or predictive maintenance tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel for field service work.
