Job summary

HRU Technical Resources is seeking a Service Lane Specialist to drive dealership performance across the United States. This field-based role partners with dealership leadership to implement best-in-class service lane processes and coach service teams to boost efficiency, retention, and profitability.

You will lead digital tool optimization, configure OSS scheduling, and troubleshoot issues while monitoring KPIs and driving adoption of programs such as MPVI and GM service standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in automotive dealership operations, service, BDC or OEM environments.
• Strong understanding of dealership service workflows and cross-functional operations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Partner with dealership leadership to implement service lane processes.
• Coach Service Advisors, Managers, and BDC teams to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Lead adoption of programs like MPVI and GM service standards.
• Oversee digital tool optimization and OSS scheduling configurations.
• Monitor dealership performance and develop improvement plans.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders and share best practices.
