Job summary

Lumafield designs, manufactures and services the world’s first accessible X-ray CT scanner. The Field Service Technician maintains and repairs Lumafield scanners at customer sites and supports in-house projects with engineering and operations teams.

You will calibrate and troubleshoot production systems, create and update training materials, and travel frequently (about 75%) to customer sites, ensuring safety and quality across deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience with computer, electrical, and mechanical systems including sensors and actuators.
• Ability to follow a written procedure and identify deviations or problems.
• Comfortable using common hand tools (drill, torque wrench, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication for field support and reports.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning and calibrating Lumafield scanners.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair at customer sites.
• Frequent travel to customer sites (75%).
• Create, update, maintain training materials and safety guidelines.
