The Customer Engineer (CE) at Vertiv is responsible for installation, commissioning, scheduled and emergency service on UPS, Power Distribution Units and other Power Products, and Battery system products (2-120KVA) serviced by Vertiv, with required classroom and on-the-job training. The role emphasizes building rapport with customers and colleagues while delivering safe, reliable service.

Expect to travel within the district, perform field tasks, communicate with Technical Support, and complete

Qualifications

• 4+ years military experience in a related technical field
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies
• Capable of working under supervision or independently after training
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues
• Implement Field Change Notices per guidelines
• Maintain safety and on-site logistics
