Job summary

ManpowerGroup client, a leader in semiconductor wet processing equipment, seeks a Field Service Engineer to support customer sites on a predominantly field-based role. You will analyze complex failures, interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics, and lead startup, commissioning, and qualification of automated wet bench systems.

Travel is expected domestically and internationally; you will serve as a technical consultant, recommending upgrades and process improvements while documenting changes.

Qualifications

• Associate orBachelor's in engineering or related field, or 5+ years in semiconductor equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting semiconductor processing equipment and automated systems (PLC-based controls).
• Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings to diagnose issues.
• Hands-on wiring, soldering, and installing plumbing components for leak-tight connections.
• Knowledge of field documentation practices and time/material tracking in Global Shop.

Responsibilities

• 75% field-based with domestic and international travel to support customers.
• Analyze complex system failures using advanced diagnostic techniques and engineering principles.
• Interpret specifications, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and drawings to diagnose problems.
• Develop innovative solutions for equipment modifications and process improvements.
• Lead startup, commissioning, and qualification of automated wet bench systems.
• Act as a primary technical consultant, recommending upgrades and documenting changes.
