Saalex Solutions - A Saalex Company is seeking Field Service Engineer II to support Navy deployments at CONUS/OCONUS locations, including Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Qualifications include 3-5 years in field service, a relevant IT/engineering degree, and certifications such as Network+ or Security+, plus eligibility for security clearances.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in field service engineering, systems integration, or related technical field.
• Hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise IT and network systems.
• Experience with system integration, deployment, and configuration of hardware and network components.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance.
• Ability to travel extensively to CONUS and OCONUS locations as required.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in field environments.
• Ability to work independently and lead efforts in remote or operational settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, configuration, and integration of IT hardware, network systems, and infrastructure at field sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system, hardware, and network issues in operational environments.
• Support system upgrades, technology refresh, and deployment activities in accordance with engineering designs.
• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure system availability and reliability.
• Provide on-site technical leadership and guidance to junior field service personnel.
