Job summary

Darwin Chambers Company is seeking a Field Service Engineer I based in the greater St. Louis area to perform repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on stability chambers across the United States. You will build customer relationships and document service activity.

Responsibilities include field service visits, work order documentation, and post-install training for customers. Travel up to five days weekly, with weekend as needed; strong mechanical/electrical aptitude is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, Vocational or Career Diploma, Certificate of Completion to relevant courses or equivalent relevant experience of 1-2 years
• Specialized training in: Refrigeration and/or Electronic Technology nice to have, but on the job training available
• EPA 608 universal certification (can be obtained on the job)

Responsibilities

• Travels the contiguous United States up to 5 days a week, weekends as needed
• Repairs, calibrations and preventative maintenance of stability chambers
• Develops customer relations to increase future sales under supervision
• Completes service reports and related documentation using Salesforce and Microsoft 365
• Maintains cleanliness of worksite during service
• Occasionally assists in quality control under management direction
• Provides customer training after reach-in installations
