Job summary

PHOTOMATE is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to support the Head of Service in daily operations of our Service Department. This field-focused role involves attending sites and commissioning C&I and Utility-scale PV and BESS systems to ensure safe, efficient delivery and high technical standards.

You will travel to project sites, test and troubleshoot electrical and energy systems, and compile commissioning reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Technical background in electrical engineering, energy, automation, or a related field.
• Knowledge of PV and BESS systems.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site.
• Bulgarian proficiency at C2 level and English at B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Service in daily technical service activities.
• Travel to project sites and perform commissioning of PV and BESS systems.
• Test, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical and energy systems.
• Ensure systems operate according to specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare commissioning reports and technical documentation.
• Communicate with internal teams and on-site stakeholders.
