Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to support testing and commissioning of HV, BESS, and PV projects. You will lead the project commissioning team, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery at multiple job sites.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence, travel, and strong knowledge of NFPA/NEC, LOTO, and testing procedures. You will work closely with the Commissioning Manager to develop schedules, plans, and reports,

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and commissioning on utility scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team, providing guidance and support.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager on project status.
• Develop project milestones, commissioning plans, and procedures.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers on testing and commissioning activities.
• Align commissioning activities with engineering, construction, and QA teams.
• Develop integrated P6 testing and commissioning schedules and update weekly.
• Ensure all commissioning activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare detailed daily commissioning reports and track results.
