Job summary

ExecuSource, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to program Siemens PLCs in packaging equipment across the U.S. This full-time role involves extensive travel (80–90%), on-site support, and direct customer interaction to install, commission, and optimize automated systems.

Candidates should have 3+ years of hands-on PLC programming, experience with S7 and TIA Portal, and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting. TN Visa eligible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on PLC programming experience, not just troubleshooting.
• Experience with industrial automation or packaging equipment.
• Strong mechanical + electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to travel 80–90% consistently and work with clients.

Responsibilities

• Program and modify Siemens PLCs (S7 / TIA Portal required).
• Troubleshoot automation systems and high-speed production equipment.
• Support installation, commissioning, and system optimization.
• Work directly with customers to resolve complex technical issues.
• Travel extensively to support projects across the U.S. and internationally.
