Job summary

Advantest America Inc. is seeking a Production Service Engineer in Austin to manage customer accounts and deliver after-sales support for local and international clients, ensuring a positive experience with our test equipment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting production test programs, improving yield, guiding hardware and software debugging, and coordinating field change orders, with on-site repairs and installation oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in C++ and Java; strong customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver post-sales service support for Advantest’s automated test and handling products, including troubleshooting production test programs and overseeing acceptance and upgrades.
• Provide thorough engineering and technical assistance, debugging test programs and hardware to maintain peak performance.
• Support license management matters for customers locally and globally and collaborate with the Service Sales team to pursue opportunities.
• Ensure all service contract deliverables are met and provide consultancy to boost equipment efficiency and performance.
• Assist or lead technical projects, solve customer problems efficiently, and travel to customer sites as needed.
