Job summary

Air Liquide Electronics in Dallas is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Semiconductor Gas Systems to oversee safe operation, maintenance, and reliability of gas delivery and purification systems in critical manufacturing environments.

You will lead installation, testing, troubleshooting, and routine servicing, collaborating with site teams while following HS&E standards. The role demands travel up to 40% nationwide and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering; 5 years of hands-on field service/technical ops or systems engineering.
Experience with high-purity gas delivery systems in semiconductor/aerospace/chemical processing.
Willingness to travel up to 40% nationwide to support regional sites.
Certified to work on 600V electrical systems.
Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics and PLC logic.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety and reliability of gas delivery and purification systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and purifier regenerations; conduct repairs on piping, valves and controls.
Troubleshoot electro-mechanical failures and process upsets in pressurized environments.
Provide installation, commissioning, and engineering oversight for new systems and skids.
Manage contractors on site and provide on-call support as needed.
