Job summary

Philips is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Augusta/Bangor, Maine, to install, troubleshoot and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites. You will deliver exceptional service, manage customer relationships, and work within regulatory requirements across multiple modalities.

The role requires 1+ year in imaging service or 3+ years in electromechanical industries, an associates in electronics, and the ability to travel extensively, often 1–4 hours away, with potential overnight

Qualifications

• 1+ years in diagnostic imaging service environment or 3+ years in other electromechanical industries
• Ability to install, diagnose, repair equipment including electronic, mechanical, and networking aspects
• Associate degree in electronics or related field required

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by managing expectations and addressing needs.
• Participate in regional work teams and pursue opportunities to improve processes and capabilities.
• Complete paperwork and comply with training, quality, and safety requirements.
• Use tools and escalation processes to resolve problems and complete PMs and installations.
• Travel about 70% across the geography with 1–4 hours driving daily; overnight travel may be required.
