• Comfortable in customer-facing environments and high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service support.
• Work alongside engineering and build teams to assemble, debug, and validate custom automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Modify and support PLC, HMI, robotics, motion, and vision systems.
• Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Respond to service calls (remote and onsite) to keep our customers running.

You’ll be part of the core team building the service business, working directly with engineering, and supporting custom automation systems deployed around the world.

What You’ll Do

You’ll split your time between the shop and the field, giving you a balance of hands-on build, debug, and controls work and real-world system and service support at customer sites.

• Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service support
• Work alongside engineering and build teams to assemble, debug, and validate custom automation systems
• Troubleshoot and optimize electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems
• Modify and support PLC, HMI, robotics, motion, and vision systems

Technical Scope

You should be comfortable working across multiple systems and stepping in wherever needed:

Controls & Automation

• PLC/HMI platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
• Industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus)

Robotics & Vision

• Industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA)
• Vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence)

Systems Integration

• Electrical troubleshooting, panel systems, and field wiring
• Pneumatics and mechanical systems
• Integration of peripherals and custom equipment
