Job summary

Octillion Power Systems is seeking a field technician to deliver customer service experience while driving service quality and retention. The role focuses on testing lithium-ion battery packs and providing repair and maintenance for high-voltage battery systems.

You will support day-to-day engineering tasks, fabricate wire harnesses and test rigs, travel to customer sites, troubleshoot issues, and maintain tools and documentation. Strong communication with customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Testing of lithium ion battery packs is required.

• Experience with on-site installation, repair and testing.

Responsibilities

• Test lithium-ion battery packs.
• Repair and maintenance of high voltage and low voltage packs.
• Replace components and perform measurements.
• Support day-to-day engineering tasks and tie workflow to schedule.
• Manufacture wire harnesses and test rigs for manufacturing and testing.
• Travel to customer sites to collect data.
• Troubleshoot issues; operate testing tools and perform repairs.
• Maintain tool kits, laptops, connectors and equipment.
• Communicate technical issues to customers.
• Maintain daily activity logs and part tracking sheets.
• Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.

Role and responsibilities:

This position is responsible for delivering the desired customer service experience to drive service that improves customer satisfaction and maximizes customer retention.

• To be responsible for testing of lithium ion battery pack.
• To be responsible for handling high voltage lithium-ion battery system repair and maintenance
• To be responsible for Repair high voltage and low voltage lithium-ion battery packs, replace components and performing measurements.
• To support day-to-day engineering tasks and tie workflow to schedule.
• To be responsible for Manufacturing wire harnesses and test rigs to support battery pack manufacturing and testing.
• Travel to customer sites within the allotted jurisdictions to collect data
• To be responsible for Troubleshoot technical issues; operate company laptop and testing tools to help evaluate technical issues and implement required repair tasks.
• To be responsible to maintain tool kits, laptops, connectors and other proprietary equipment.
• To communicate with customer about technical issues.
• To make daily activity logs, tracking of maintenance and part tracking sheet
• To manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
