Job summary

Ametek, Inc.'s Taylor Hobson unit in Aurora, IL is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our USA customer base. After training you will install, calibrate and service equipment at customer sites and provide remote troubleshooting and diagnostic support.

You will quote services, travel within North America, and work independently while representing Taylor Hobson. A mechanical/electronic engineering background, strong computer skills, and a valid US driving license are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in electronic or multi-disciplinary engineering; 3+ years field service experience preferred.
• US Passport or Green Card holders only; travel required.
• Experience traveling for work and ability to travel across North America.

Responsibilities

• Install and train at customer sites.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment.
• Perform service repair at customer sites.
• Provide after-sales support and remote troubleshooting.
