Emerson's Power & Water Solutions is seeking an Early Career Field Service Engineer to operate from Tinley Park, IL, with travel to multiple regional offices. You will support installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced automation systems at customer sites, troubleshoot, and contribute to project success with hands-on mentorship.

You’ll develop technical and customer-relations skills while learning virtualization and simulation technologies, traveling up to 80% and helping

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a practical problem-solving mindset.
Ability to travel up to 80% as required.

Responsibilities

Support installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced automation at customer sites.
Troubleshoot technical challenges with customers and deliver effective solutions.
Learn technologies through hands-on field experience and mentorship from experienced engineers.
Assist with system testing, QA activities, and performance evaluations.
Provide on-site and remote support during projects and upgrades.
Participate in customer trainings and FATs.
Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and customers to ensure project success.
Develop technical, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills on real-world projects.
