Position Details

This is a grade 14 position reporting to the Field Service Manager. The work model for this role is remote, contributing to the Measurement and Analytics group in Houston, TX or Miramar, FL.

Your Role and Responsibilities

1. Independently install, modify, test, repair, or inspect company products and equipment such as low voltage and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and rotating machinery.
2. Perform or coordinate complex engineering activities related to field projects.
3. Interpret technical drawings and schematics; make necessary changes in the field based on onsite work.
4. Assist the business development team with technical knowledge for quotations and proposals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in marine power generation and power distribution, focusing on circuit breaker and switchgear maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of protection relays and excitation.
• Associate's Degree in engineering or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with marine/offshore work environments and procedures.
