Reporting Line

This position reports to the Field Service Manager.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Work independently to install, modify, test, repair, or inspect company products and equipment including, but not limited to: low voltage and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and rotating machinery.
2. Perform or coordinate complex and diverse engineering activities associated with field projects.
3. Interpret technical drawings and schematics and make changes as necessary in the field to reflect work carried out on site.
4. Assist the business development team with technical knowledge for generating quotations and proposals.

The work model for this role is remote. This position contributes to the Measurement and Analytics group in Houston, TX or Miramar, FL.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in marine power generation and power distribution, focusing on circuit breaker and switchgear maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of protection relays and excitation.
• Associate's Degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Alternatively, a combination of education, experience, and demonstrated accomplishments.
• Familiarity with marine/offshore work environments and procedures.
