This position reports to

Project Execution Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the execution of small projects with low complexity. You will ensure activities are executed per procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets. You will define and apply basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively. The work model is onsite. This role contributes to the Process Automation Marine & Ports division. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the project team.
• Monitoring project progress, resource utilization, and financials.
• Managing project risks and opportunities.
• Driving project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment.

Qualifications for the role

• High School Diploma or GED with 6 years' marine industry, electrical engineering, or diesel engine experience, OR Associate degree with 4 years' experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 2 years' experience.
• Project Management certification preferred.
• Understanding of project finance, legal aspects, and technical background (engineering degree preferred).
• Negotiation, persuasion, and influence skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and experience managing service jobs and reviewing technical reports.
• Experience in the cruise or offshore oil and gas industry.
• 3+ years in marine service or electrical engineering.
• 3+ years using SAP for service orders, purchase orders, and work time tracking.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
