Job summary

ZwickRoell in North America is looking for a qualified technician to support customers with the installation, service, and repair of ZwickRoell testing systems. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and the ability to travel up to 80% of the time.

Job Overview

Support customers with installation, service, repair, calibration, and training of ZwickRoell testing systems across diverse industries.

Location

Philadelphia, PA, USA

Responsibilities

• Installation, service, and repair of ZwickRoell systems, including drop weight towers, medical equipment (catheters, auto injectors), torsion systems, and temperature chambers.
• Calibrate equipment to relevant standards and procedures.
• Use and train on current test methods.
• Evaluate test results for reasonableness.
• Provide customer training on operation and software of ZwickRoell machines.
• Modify specifications or design new test methods as required.
• Prepare written reports of calibration results according to ISO/IEC 17025.
• Offer technical advice to customers and personnel when required.
• Troubleshoot electronic and electromechanical devices using schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Maintain all ZwickRoell tools and parts in good condition.
• Maintain a vehicle to OEM standards with prior approval and perform major repairs.
• Collaborate with service scheduler to schedule timely, cost‑effective service.
• Maintain a satisfied customer base.
• Submit all weekly reports on time.
• Participate in developing accreditation programs and training.
• Support the quality program.
• Travel up to 80% of the time.

Experience and Required Skills
