Job summary

ZwickRoell, LP is seeking a technically skilled service engineer to install, service and repair ZwickRoell test systems across North America, leveraging the company’s 160-year legacy of quality.

You will calibrate equipment to ISO/IEC 17025, apply universal destructive testing machines and extensometers, and train customers on operation and software while supporting continuous improvement and accurate test reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Meet requirements for accreditation as defined by A2LA and ISO/IEC 17025.
• Experience with universal destructive testing machines and extensometers.
• Technical metrology or calibration experience.

Responsibilities

• Installation, service and repair of ZwickRoell systems.
• Calibrate equipment to relevant standards and procedures.
• Use and train customers on test methods and software of ZwickRoell machines.
• Prepare written reports of calibration results according to ISO/IEC 17025.
• Troubleshoot electronic and electromechanical devices from schematics and drawings.
• Maintain tools and parts in good operating condition.
• Cooperate with the service scheduler to optimize time and cost of duties.
