Job summary

ASML in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service HMI equipment at customer sites, perform maintenance, and provide technical support. You will train junior engineers, interface with customers and internal teams, and drive improvements through post-mortems.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 0–4 years’ hands-on experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems. Occasional travel and a strong customer focus are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field.
• 0–4 years hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical systems or semiconductor processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Excel VBA.
• Customer-focused mindset from academic or professional settings.
• Basic programming skills in MATLAB, Python, SQL, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and coordination duties, including pass-downs, work orders, field service reports, system problem reports, and monthly reports.
• Maintain and service equipment at customer sites in clean room environments.
• Install upgrades and relocate equipment as needed.
• Escalate to 2L/3L support with clear technical communication.
• Advise customers on actions to correct system malfunctions.
• Interface with customers and internal teams, coaching junior engineers.
