Job summary

ASML is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and improve complex semiconductor equipment on-site. You will work with customers to ensure peak system performance, transfer knowledge, and support continuous innovation across the PAS5500 install base.

You will manage maintenance, troubleshooting, and service planning while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable results and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the semiconductor or high-tech equipment industry.
• Experience with data analysis tools and standard business software (spreadsheets, presentations, documentation tools).
• Familiarity with electromechanical systems, diagnostics, and maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment issues by gathering and interpreting diagnostic data.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced systems.
• Plan service activities, including tools, parts, and customer scheduling.
• Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Document service activities and ensure clear handoff to support teams.
• Train customer staff on system use, maintenance, and best practices.
• Share knowledge and support the development of less experienced engineers.
