Job summary

ASM seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer I to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair advanced semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites. You will be the technical expert ensuring equipment performance, safety and uptime while collaborating with global teams.

Travel is required to support installations and upgrades, with focus on delivering top-tier customer service and technical training as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, EM Technology, Engineering or related field.
5+ years of field service or technical support with complex capital equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical/electro-mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

Install, startup, qualification, preventive maintenance and repair on semiconductor equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, vacuum and software issues in customer sites.
Provide timely, professional technical support and maintain equipment uptime.
Interpret schematics and technical docs to diagnose issues.
Document service activities and findings thoroughly.
Travel domestically and internationally to support installations and upgrades.
