Job summary

ASML in Eagan, Minnesota, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and improve complex semiconductor equipment on-site. You will work independently with cross-functional teams, traveling up to 25% to support customers and continuously enhance system performance.

The role requires a technical degree and 2+ years in the semiconductor/high-tech sector, plus data-analysis and documentation skills. Base hourly pay ranges from $37 to $51, with benefits and 401k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical or mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years in semiconductor/high-tech equipment.
• Experience with data analysis tools and standard business software.
• Familiarity with electromechanical diagnostics and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment issues by gathering and interpreting diagnostic data.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced systems.
• Plan service activities, including tools, parts, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Document service activities and ensure clear handoff to support teams.
• Train customer staff on system use and best practices.
• Share knowledge and mentor less experienced engineers.
