Job summary

ASML Germany GmbH is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site maintenance and repairs on ASML systems at customer sites in the Idaho region. The role requires hands-on problem solving, travel up to 10%, and willingness to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will analyze issues, perform repairs, and train customers in operation and safety procedures. Prospective candidates should have an engineering bachelor's degree and 0–2 years of hands-on experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
0–2 years hands-on experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, or semiconductor processes.
Proficiency in MS Office; Excel VBA.
Customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Problem analysis and approach – gather information, analyze, decide on initial approach and execute; consult with others.
Problem handovers and routing – handover to 2nd line support; document and package data for resolution.
Repairs – use tools, replace parts, adjust settings to perform repairs and standard actions.
Procedures – arrange parts, tools, equipment, and information to start and complete procedures.
Training / advice – explain actions to users, train customers in operation and maintenance.
Process optimization – identify gaps and report improvements to stakeholders.
