Job summary

Mirion is seeking an assembler/test technician to assemble, test, and QA nuclear instrumentation components. Responsibilities include final assembly with wiring and soldering, inspecting items for quality, and ensuring revisions are correct per drawings.

You will read schematics, use standard test equipment, and participate in a safe, compliant workplace. Candidates should have soldering skills, tool proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of post-high school electronics education or 3 years electronics experience.
• Soldering skills required for final assembly.
• Proficient use of test equipment (meter, scope, etc).
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Understand basic electronic theory and component identification.

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly (hardware, wiring, soldering).
• Conduct prelim and final testing of products.
• Act as QA to ready items for shipment.
• Follow Quality Procedures and maintain schedule accuracy.
• Visually inspect workmanship and conformance to drawings.
• Identify and investigate components in error; verify revisions.
