Job summary

Nova is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customer sites across the US. You will perform engineering and technical activities, collaborating with R&D to advance new products and ensure customer success.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot Nova systems, train users, and report on activities and inventory. Candidates should have strong field experience and travel readiness.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of field experience in a related role.
• Willingness and ability to travel 15–20% domestically and internationally.
• Experience with multi-discipline semiconductor manufacturing equipment and metrology.
• Knowledge of optics, GUI software design, and mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering and technical activities at customer sites.
• Coordinate with R&D teams to direct technology development of new products.
• Provide on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services.
• Maintain accurate reporting on customer support activities and inventory levels.
• Assist in new equipment installations, add-ons, and upgrades.
• Provide customer training and retraining as needed.
