Job summary
Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical laboratory analyzers in the Davenport, IA area. You will install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on hematology, chemistry, coagulation and related robotic lab instrumentation for a medical device manufacturer.
Overnight travel is required, and candidates must be vaccinated against COVID-19. The role requires a Certificate or AAS degree in electronics, strong electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Certificate or AAS degree in electronics or related discipline.
- Experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Overnight travel will be required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
- Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
- Establish a good customer relations foundation.
- Coordinate problem resolution within Field Support Group.
- Maintain car inventory, tools, and parts.
- Provide basic on-site training on operation of instrumentation.
