Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain automated lab instrumentation in the Davenport, IA area. The role requires traveling overnight and servicing hematology, chemistry, coagulation, and related analyzers.

Candidates should have an electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting background, a certificate or AAS in electronics, and at least 3 years of field service experience in medical devices. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required.

Qualifications

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation
