Job summary

Quest Medical is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site preventive maintenance and repairs of Quest Medical instruments at customer locations across the United States. The role requires travel 100% and close collaboration with customers, service leadership, and engineering teams to ensure optimal instrument performance.

The candidate should have 1+ years of field service experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

One or more years of field service/repair experience on medical devices.
Willingness to travel 100% and reside within reasonable distance to a major airport.
Proficient with MS Word and Excel; able to work remotely.
Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
ESD experience; soldering; FDA/ISO environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites for preventive maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
Isolate instrument malfunctions and perform corrective repairs.
Ensure all customer and service instruments are in good working order.
Represent Quest Medical in dealings with customers; ensure customer satisfaction.
Communicate service activity with customers and service leadership.
Provide detailed service reports with work performed, parts used and solutions.
Keep accurate records of installations, repairs and maintenance.
Provide feedback to engineering teams on product performance and improvements.
