Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and service instrumentation in regulated environments, with 60% travel and 1–2 overnight stays per week. You will maintain inventory, complete service documentation, and coordinate with the Service Center and engineering managers to promptly resolve issues.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years fixing instruments, a valid driver's license, and experience with medical device instruments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma minimum.
• 3+ years fixing instruments or components in field service.
• Valid Driver's License with clean record.
• Experience with medical device instruments and field service.
• Customer interfacing experience and MS Office proficiency.
• Familiarity with Mac and PC operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and service instrumentation with minimal supervision per ISO/GMP.
• Provide follow-up service to customers after initial service.
• Maintain car stock, test equipment, and data.
• Complete service documentation per GMP requirements.
• Travel up to 60% with 1–2 overnight stays weekly.
• Interface with departments to resolve customer issues.
